Privacy Policy – Lynkzet

Privacy Policy

Effective Date: [Insert Date]

This Privacy Policy explains how Lynkzet (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards information when you use our multipurpose super app (e.g., ride-hailing, deliveries, logistics, and on-demand services) (the “Services”). By accessing or using Lynkzet, you agree to this Policy.

1) Information We Collect

  • Account & Identity: name, phone, email, profile photo, verification IDs (where required by law or safety checks).
  • Transactional: orders, trip details, pickup/drop-off addresses, invoices, payments (UPI/cards/wallet—processed by payment partners).
  • Communications: in-app chat/calls between users, feedback, support tickets, ratings.
  • Device & Usage: device model, OS, app version, language, IP, mobile network, crash logs, diagnostics.
  • Location: precise GPS and network-based signals (see Section 2).
  • Optional: promo refs, preferences, saved places, accessibility settings.

2) Location Data & Background Tracking

Because Lynkzet powers location-based services, we process precise location to: match you with nearby partners, compute ETAs/fares, enable navigation, verify/secure trips and deliveries, provide SOS/safety features, and support lost-and-found or order support.

  • Foreground Collected when the app is open/active to run core features.
  • Background With your explicit permission, collected when the app is not in use to complete ongoing trips/orders, show live tracking, and improve safety/anti-fraud.

You can disable location in device settings; however, many features will not function without it.

3) How We Use Information

  • Provide and operate the Services; fulfill rides, deliveries, and on-demand tasks.
  • Authenticate users, prevent fraud, and ensure platform and user safety.
  • Process payments, send invoices/receipts, and manage subscriptions or credits.
  • Provide customer support, service updates, and transactional notifications.
  • Personalize UI, recommendations, and promotions; conduct analytics and service improvement.
  • Comply with laws, enforce terms, and resolve disputes.

4) Sharing & Disclosures

We do not sell your personal information. We may share as follows:

  • Service fulfillment with drivers/couriers/service partners (limited to what’s necessary to complete a job).
  • Payments with payment processors and banks to complete transactions.
  • Vendors for cloud hosting, analytics, communications, identity verification, and customer support (under confidentiality obligations).
  • Legal/Safety to authorities or third parties when required by law, to protect rights, safety, property, or investigate fraud/abuse.
  • Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale (with notice where required).
  • Aggregated/De-identified insights that do not identify you.

5) Device Permissions & Cookies

  • Permissions: location, camera (KYC/proofs, QR), photos/media (receipts, profile), microphone (in-app calls/voice notes), contacts (invite/referrals—optional), notifications, motion sensors (anti-fraud/safety—where supported).
  • Cookies/SDKs: We and our partners may use cookies and third-party SDKs for authentication, analytics, crash reporting, and marketing measurement. You can manage certain preferences in app settings or your device’s ad settings.

6) Data Security

We apply technical and organizational safeguards (encryption in transit, access controls, monitoring). No method is 100% secure; we maintain and improve controls continuously.

7) Data Retention

We retain data for as long as needed to provide the Services, meet legal/regulatory/accounting requirements, and resolve disputes. Where possible, we anonymize or securely delete data no longer required.

8) Your Rights & Choices

  • Access/Correction/Deletion: Request a copy, rectify inaccuracies, or delete certain data (subject to legal retention).
  • Consent Management: Withdraw consent (e.g., background location) in device/app settings—some features may stop working.
  • Marketing: Opt out of non-essential marketing communications in the app or via the unsubscribe link.
  • Regional Rights:
    • EU/UK (GDPR/UK-GDPR): rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, portability, and object; legal bases include consent, contract, legitimate interests, and legal obligations.
    • California (CCPA/CPRA): rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale/sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising (we do not “sell” personal info).

10) Children’s Privacy

Lynkzet is not intended for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided data, contact us to delete it.

11) Changes to This Policy
